Thats right, a new blog.

I have too many of these profiles, friends on every one of them who aren't anywhere else.

Frankly, I didn't even know I had this profile until I got an email begging me to come look at something. It looks like Buzznet with a (un)healthy dose of preteen angst.

So, please stop by and say hi. http://chaosbean.wordpress.com/

If you have a blog, send me the link chaosbean AT gmail DOT com and I will blog roll you.

And, by new I mean about a month old, but hey

my most commented entry is http://chaosbean.wordpress.com/2009/02/17/promises/

So, I have this new job, at a photography studio. Oddly enough, taking and selling photographs. I don't know if everyone knew that or not. Now you do.

I still work at the daycare, and do the photography on weekends and some nights. I love it, and I'm learning a lot (and making more money at the second job then the fulltime job. fucking fabulous)

So the opinions. To succeed at the new job, I need a new (read: better and dslr) camera. I don;t know what to get..

Do I pony up (and save half of forever) for the Canon EOS 1D Mark III? Is it the best or is it just ungodly costly?

Or for almost 1/3 of the Mark III's cost, do I go for the Canon EOS 40D? They both are 10 megapixals and will be obsolete in 3 years.

Or do I get the Rebel XTI/EOS 400D, pay 500 less then I would for the 40D?

Or brand loyalty be damned, and a Nikon D40x? It means the two basic lenses I already have are useless but damn is the camera cheap.

But then maybe a D80 is better? And i should save up for that?

Then comes the discussion of which lenses I need most right out of the gate.

all I know is that I "need" the creative aperture kit.

I am hoping that between my tax return and some economic stimulus money, I will have a good start to my savings. I need the camera to make money, but I have to make money to get the camera. I don't know. I love the job though.

I just don't have an extra 2 grand, and I never will. I guess thats why I'm lost.
